Silkpeel™ Micro-Dermal Infusion

The SilkPeel™ Micro-Dermal Infusion is a non-invasive skin care system that gently but deeply exfoliates the skin to improve its overall health and appearance. Many patients undergo the SilkPeel treatment before or after IPL or other laser treatments in order to maximize the results and help the skin look and feel its best.

This system can effectively improve the appearance of:

Oily, acne-prone skin
Dry, flaky patches

Bright red blotches

Silkpeel Micro-Dermal Infusion Frederick During treatment, a serum chosen to treat your individual skin condition is infused into the skin with the SilkPeel handpiece so that the vitamins, antioxidants and other therapeutic ingredients can be accurately delivered. Patients may experience a mild tightening feeling as the skin is treated, but most are able to enjoy a cool, refreshed feeling from the topical solutions applied to the skin.

After treatment, patients may experience a warm, pinkish glow, although this usually fades within 20 minutes, leaving the skin radiant and healthy. There is no downtime after this procedure, and patients are able to return to work and other normal activities immediately after. In fact, many patients have this treatment done during their lunch hour so that they don't have to take any time out from their busy schedules and can improve the appearance of their skin in as little as 20 minutes.

The results of the SilkPeel procedure are usually visible after the first treatment, with optimal results achieved after a series of 4 to 6 treatments spaced 7 to 10 days apart. Patients should also follow a daily post-care skin routine recommended by Allyssa.

The SilkPeel treatment is safe for nearly all patients and carries little to no risk of complications. This advanced procedure actually eliminates the risks and complications commonly associated with the traditional microdermabrasion procedure.

The VI-Peel™ Anti-Aging Chemical Peel System is a revolutionary form of the traditional chemical peel procedure that improves the tone, texture and overall appearance of the skin with little to no side effects or pain. The unique combination of ingredients used in the VI-Peel™ offer patients exceptional results and improvement to many different skin conditions.

This peel can be used to treat:

VI-Peel Anti-Aging Chemical Peel System Frederick This treatment can be used on the face, hands or chest to remove wrinkles and other affects of aging, especially sun damage on these sensitive areas. In addition to improving tone and texture, the VI-Peel™ also stimulates collagen production for a fuller, more youthful appearance that can benefit patients of all ages.

The applied solution will slough off old, damaged skin and stimulate the production of new skin cells, which appear in just a few days and create a younger and more refreshed appearance. The VI-Peel™ procedure takes just a few minutes to perform in Dr. Liotta's office.

After the VI-Peel™, patients ay experience redness or a tan appearance to the skin. The skin will also feel tighter for one to two days after treatment. Peeling usually begins on the third day of the procedure, and can be camouflaged with moisturizer for a few days, before full results are visible.

Unlike other chemical peels, the VI-Peel™ produces significant results in just a few days with no pain and no downtime. Most patients achieve their desired results after just one treatment, allowing them to enjoy dramatic skin repair and a healthy glow added to the skin. The results are long-lasting, and can be extended even longer if patients continue their recommended skin care regimen. Results can be maintained by undergoing three or four VI-Peels each year, although this treatment can be repeated as often as every two weeks if patients desire.
