GLYTONE® is a complete line of skin rejuvenation products that improve the appearance and texture of skin through a three-step process: in-office consultation and facial peels, followed by at-home cleansing/moisturizing/exfoliating. GLYTONE® products are individually designed by your doctor according to your skin type for maximum effectiveness.

GYLTONE® penetrates the skin surface and loosens the top layer of cells, leaving behind fresher, smoother, younger-looking skin. GYLTONE® consists of glycolic acid, a mild form of alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) used in the gentlest chemical peels. At first, peels are done with the mildest glycolic acid formula, in either gel or pad form. As the series of treatments progresses, concentrations are strengthened for deeper penetration and more dramatic results. The number of treatments depends on the patient's skin type and preferences. On average, 15-25 peels are given over six to nine months.

AFA® mimics the amino acids naturally found in our skin. Amino acids are found in the upper layers of the epidermis and are the main moisture-retaining factor in the skin. The chemical structure of the AFA molecule is very similar to that of a glycolic acid and they have small enough molecules, with molecular weights of under 100, to get into the skin at low pHs. They provide excellent exfoliation, but with much less dryness and irritation than occurs with the "older" AHA's (Alpha Hydroxy Acids - usually glycolics). Patients notice a softening of the skin within 24 hours after first using AFAs and the skin immediately begins to retain more moisture. If used with a daily moisturizer, the skin will retain all the natural water we secrete during the day.
